27th Annual Little Miss, Junior Miss & World Miss Queen Pageants! Petersen Auditorium at Kewanee High School. Saturday, August 2 @ 12 Noon and 4 PM (4 PM start time approximate following end of Little Miss Pageant) $5 Admission fee.  $5 full color souvenir program books.

Hog Capital Barrow Show! Black Hawk East College Agriculture Arena. Wednesday, August 27. Weigh-ins begin @ 3 PM. Show underway @ 6:30 PM.  Food concession available. THE oldest event of Hog Days! The World's Largest Outdoor Pork Barbecue! On the green space at Third & Tremont Streets in downtown Kewanee. Friday 5 PM-9 PM; Saturday/Sunday 11 AM-9 PM; Monday 11 AM-5 PM (or earlier if we run out!) LONG serving lines at lunch & supper time each day.  PATIENCE needed. Sandwich prices determined August 14 and posted here at that time. Background info here
Hog Days Craft Show & Flea Market! West Park in Kewanee, IL. Friday afternoon until dusk; Saturday/Sunday 9 AM until dusk; Monday 9 AM until 5 PM. Allow plenty of browse time. 38th Annual Hog Days Stampede & Fitness Run! The YMCA on West First Street 8 AM-4 mile fitness run

9:45 AM-1 mile run

22nd Annual Kewanee Hog Days Car Show! Green space on East Third Street across from City Hall 8 AM-4 PM The muscle car of your youth will be making an appearance here! For more information: 309 525-0552 or 309 847-4178. Entry form available here

Nelson Enterprises Helicopter Rides!

Green space immediately west of the Station House Restaurant on West Third Street, downtown Kewanee 10 AM-until dusk. ONE DAY ONLY! $35 per ride.  Bring your camera and get a bird's-eye view of your house, your neighborhood, Hog Days...EVERYTHING! Assisting with passenger loading/unloading duties will be the Kewanee High School Football team who will receive a portion of the proceeds. You can have a breath taking moment up in the sky and support the Boilers all at the same time! Nelson Enterprises will also be providing rides at the Homestead Festival in Princeton, IL the weekend following Hog Fest, September 5-8.
Kewanee Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution Open House! 610 Park Avenue (across the street from West Park to the north) 1 PM-4 PM This was the very first house ever built in Kewanee still standing and restored to mint condition. Come see how we lived in 1854! A small donation at the end of your tour would be nice but not required.
The Hog Days Parade! Begins at East & 2nd Streets, moves west on 2nd Street to Main Street, south on Main Street to Central Boulevard and west on Central Boulevard to Grove Street where the parade ends. 2 PM Bring your lawn chairs for seating anywhere along the parade route. 45th Annual Ray Behnke Model T and Model A Road Rally! Midland Plaza in Kewanee 12 Noon An exhibit of all the cars will be held in front of the Elk's Club in the 100 block of  North Tremont Street immediately following the rally (approximately 4 PM). Background info here
