8th Annual Hog Days Disc Golf Tournament! Baker Park in Kewanee, IL Saturday, August 23. Registration @ 7:30 AM. Tee times begin @ 9 AM Food available throughout the day at the 19th Hole Restaurant @ Baker Park. More info at: kewaneediscgolf@yahoo.com
Hog Capital Barrow Show! Black Hawk East College Agriculture Arena. Wednesday, August 27. Weigh-ins begin @ 3 PM. Show underway @ 6:30 PM.  Food concession available. THE oldest event of Hog Days! C.D.A.C. Carnival & Concessions! Featuring the tallest portable Ferris Wheel in the United States...over 66' tall! (Ferris Wheel in operation Fri night thru Sunday night only) Downtown Kewanee Streets Friday 5 PM-11 PM; Saturday/Sunday 11 AM-10 PM; Monday 11 AM-5 PM. The World's Largest Outdoor Pork Barbecue!

On the green space at Third & Tremont Streets in downtown Kewanee. Friday 5 PM-9 PM; Saturday/Sunday 11 AM-9 PM; Monday 11 AM-5 PM (or earlier if we run out!) LONG serving lines at lunch & supper time each day.  PATIENCE needed. Sandwich prices determined August 12 and posted here at that time. Background info here
Hog Days Craft Show & Flea Market! West Park in Kewanee, IL. Friday afternoon until dusk; Saturday/Sunday 9 AM until dusk; Monday 9 AM until 5 PM. Allow plenty of browse time. Over 100 vendors take part in this show. For more information: 309 856-6160. Email: janie@kewaneehogdays.com for more.

Boss Manufacturing/Excelled Leather "Let Out All the Stops" outlet sale! Boss Community Center, 120 South Chestnut Street, downtown Kewanee 7 AM-11 AM (or so!) Nelson Enterprises Helicopter Rides!

Green space immediately west of the Station House Restaurant on West Third Street, downtown Kewanee 10 AM-until dusk. ONE DAY ONLY! $35 per ride.  Bring your camera and get a bird's-eye view of your house, your neighborhood, Hog Days, EVERYTHING! Nelson Enterprises will also be providing rides at the Homestead Festival in Princeton, IL the weekend of September 12-14.
Kewanee Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution Open House! 610 Park Avenue (across the street from West Park to the north) 10 AM-4 PM This was the very first house ever built in Kewanee still standing and restored to mint condition. Come see the latest in 1850's home decor! A small donation at the end of your tour would be nice but not required. There's also a bake sale going on throughout the day as well!

The 2014 Hog Days Parade!

Begins at East & 2nd Streets, moves west on 2nd Street to Main Street, south on Main Street to Central Boulevard and west on Central Boulevard to Grove Street where the parade ends. 2 PM Bring your lawn chairs for seating anywhere along the parade route. 45th Annual Ray Behnke Model T and Model A Road Rally!

Midland Plaza in Kewanee 12 Noon An exhibit of all the cars will be held in front of the Elk's Club in the 100 block of  North Tremont Street immediately following the rally (approximately 4 PM). Background info here
