8th Kewanee Ministerial Association "Bless the Weekend/Thank you" Luncheon! Immediately west of the Station Restaurant in downtown Kewanee on the green space. Thursday, August 31st, 2023 at approximately 12 noon. We ask for a safe weekend & thank the carnival workers & all the volunteers with a nice luncheon! No contact info necessary. If you're a hog days volunteer or a carnival worker, c'mon down!
Discount Carnival Tickets! Kewanee Chamber of Commerce or from Union Federal, People's National Bank, both locations of Community State Bank and the Kewanee Banking Center. Available beginning June 27th until they run out. Last year, the tickets were totally sold out by the 10th of August so DON'T delay! A sheet of 12 tickets for $10. Once hog days begin, only sheets of 20 tickets for $20 will be available directly from the carnival. Individual tickets will cost $1.25 each once the festival begins. Hog Capital Barrow Show! The pavilion at the Black Hawk East Campus Agriculture Center. August 30th beginning at 6 pm! This was the very first event held at the very first hog day in 1947. More information is available at 309 854-1700.

C.D.A.C. Carnival & Concessions! Over two dozen rides set up on downtown Kewanee Streets. Friday 5 PM-11 PM; Saturday/Sunday 11 AM-11 PM; Monday 11 AM-5 PM. Discounted early bird carnival tickets available at Kewanee banks & the Chamber of Commerce starting June 27th until August 31st (or earlier if they run out). Chautauqua Park on the west side of Kewanee (corner of Dodge & Dewey Streets). 8 AM Sunday (continues all day Sunday and may slop over in Monday depending on number of team entries). The First Annual Kewanee Hog Days Pig PLOP! In the Johnson Appliance parking lot, Third & Tremont Streets. 3 PM Watch as THOUSANDS of rubber piggies are dropped from the sky! If the one you've adopted (from earlier) lands closest to the Boars-eye, YOU'RE A WINNER! Minimum prize giveaway...$500.00. Pigs are $5 each or buy a litter of 5 for $20.
