Meet the 2025 Board of Directors of Hog Capital Barbecue, Inc., who along with an army of awesome volunteers and a community spirit second to none, put this Hog Fest thing together. Pictured above in the top row (left to right) are Co chairperson and Treasurer Larry Flannery, Vice chairperson Robyn Resch and Co chairperson Mike Komnick. In the bottom row (left to right) are Secretary Janie Metscaviz, Vice chairperson Niles Reamer and Vice chairperson Anita Blanks. Committee members include: Paul Blankenbuhler, Dave and Ladosha Bystry, Jen Charboneau, Marianne Culver, Rick Dennison, Dave Feurer, Jessica Fornander, Kaye Finney, Ron Finney, Danielle Ince, Larry Kazala, Aaron Mosier, Anne Murchison, Larry Neels, Zach Rux, Mary Simaytis and Bill and Ruth Anne Scott. Unfortunately, we haven't been able to get together in one photo the most important people of all in our organization...the countless individuals who just show up each and every Hog Fest weekend, not wanting any credit, who start in cleaning, grilling, selling tickets and doing all the things that make our community shine throughout Labor Day weekend. You ARE Kewanee Hog Days in every sense of the word and we are humbly grateful for keeping our Labor Day weekend event alive and well for the past 71 years! All of our Full Committee meetings are always open to the public and you are welcome to attend. All meetings listed below begin at 7 PM. Want to be on the Board of Directors? A general election is held at the last meeting of the year (November meeting) for Director positions. Want to be a full committee member? Start coming to our monthly meetings and you are in!
