Hog Capital Barrow Show! Thursday, September 3rd, 6:30pm @ Black Hawk East College Agriculture Arena. Weigh-ins begin @ 3pm. More info at 309.854.1700. This is the oldest Hog Days event!
Baker Park Labor Day Week Golf Tourney! Baker Park Golf Course. Men’s and ladies tourney all week long. More info at 309.852.2872. Over 6 thousand dollars in prizes!
C.D.A.C. Carnival Advanced Sale Tickets! Available until sold out! (usually within a few weeks) Each sheet of 12 tickets sells for $10. Once hog days begins, a sheet of 50 tickets sells for $50. More info at 309.852.2475.
All Weekend Long:
C.D.A.C. Carnival & Concessions! Over two dozen rides set up downtown along with games and food vendors. A special kiddie land area too. Rides in operation Friday 4pm to 11pm, Sat-Sun 11am to 11pm, Monday 11am to 5pm.
The World’s Largest Outdoor Pork Barbecue! Downtown Kewanee @ the Green Space, 3rd & Chestnust Streets. Sat-Sun 11am to 8pm. Mon 11am to 5pm (or earlier if we run out of product to cook). Drive thru service Sat-Sun 11am to 7pm & Mon 11am to 3pm.
Hog Days Craft Show & Flea Market! Liberty Park in Kewanee. Food vendors & live entertainment as well. Sat-Sun open 9am until dusk. Many vendors will be open by mid-day Friday until dusk. Some vendors will also be doing business Monday til 1pm. More info at 309.883.1743.
