 1 PM

The Dan Blakey Band!

The Save a Lot Pork Cook-Off Showdown runs from 7 AM - 3 PM  just south of the Main Stage this Hog Fest Sunday. Judging starts at 3 PM with the winners announced at 4 PM. As the contestants battle it out over the grills, you can listen to the Pop and Country music styling of the Dan Blakey Band on the Main Stage beginning at 1 PM.

2 PM

Pig Tail Contest!

While the Dan Blakey Band takes a break, (see above) we're using the time to do our annual pigtail inventory. Now let's see.  Whose got the most pigtails?  The longest?  The shortest?  The most colorful?   If you're a pigtail kind of person, come on down to the Main Stage Sunday afternoon and get your pigtail stuff proudly counted!  trophies go to the best in several categories.  Just remember, this is HOG DAYS...not horse days.  Pony tails will get you a one-way ticket off the stage!

3 PM

7th Annual "Shorty" Phyllis Relay For Life Kiss The Pig Contest!

No we're NOT kidding! Someone's going to end up smooching with a real, live and squealing Henry County hog.  But hey, it's all in fun and all for a good cause! And you know what? Once you get used to it, human lips really aren't all that gross!

3:30 PM

Hogg Country WJRE 102.5 Pet Show!

Animals are not allowed at Hog Fest venues...except for right now! Dogs, cats, hamsters and Shetland ponies were just a few of the creatures "going for the gold" last year! All the action in this 4-legged (or maybe not) competition takes place just north of the Main Stage.  Winners will be introduced and announced on stage at approximately 4:30 PM.

6 PM

Shelley Kinzer

Do you like the musical styling of Martina McBride? Then come to the Main Stage early to get the best seats because Shelley Kinzer has a lot of McBride songs in her repertoire and she's GOOD!  And she'll be singing a lot of your other favorites too.  It all starts at 6 PM and we promise there'll be enough pork chop sandwiches for everyone!

7:30 PM

The Sting Rays!

We're talkin' 50s, 60s and 70s Rock and Roll!  The StingRays have recorded 2 CDs and have opened for the Guess Who, Mitch Ryder, Dion, The Ides of March and The Grass Roots as well as serving as the back up band for Danny And The Juniors of "At The Hop" fame.  See them on the Main Stage at Hog Fest. Baby Boomers, THIS is gonna be good!
