The Hog Fest Opigion Page

We've had numerous requests asking about the possibility of carnival arm bands during Hog Fest weekend. Arm bands are an option, but as with everything, there are pros and cons. C.D.A.C Rides, the carnival Hog Fest is contracted to until 2011, now offers pre-sale carnival coupons for the two months leading up to Hog Days. Pre-sale coupons would NOT be offered if arm bands were made available. It's an either/or situation. Listed below are the details. Please read about it and then cast your vote at the bottom of this page. This voting page will be up until mid December. Thanks for your help. We'll post the results by the end of 2008.

Arm Bands Good for one 4 hour period. Good one day of the 4 day Festival, rain or shine. Available for purchase only after the carnival arrives and sets up in Kewanee Visiting friends/relatives must come to the carnival the specific day and time the arm band is valid. Available from carnival employees only. Usually result in longer waiting lines since EVERYONE with an arm band would be at the rides all at the SAME time.	Pre-Sale Coupons Good any time the carnival is in operation. Good any day of the 4 day Festival, rain or shine. Available for purchase by anyone; whether for themselves or for friends or relatives coming to Kewanee for the weekend but unable to be here to purchase them in advance. Good anytime your visiting friends/relatives come to Kewanee over Festival weekend. Available from a dozen or more Hog Fest Committee members as well as from 6 local financial institutions and the Kewanee Chamber of Commerce. Usually results in shorter waiting lines since the coupons don't have to be used in one 4 hour period like an arm band.
